Submit a UFV Honorary Doctorate nomination

The Honorary Doctorate degree is the highest form of recognition offered by the University of the Fraser Valley, and will be awarded at the June UFV convocation ceremonies.

Recipients of honorary degrees will be asked to attend the UFV convocation ceremonies to receive the award, and would be expected to make a short address at convocation.

Honorary doctorates may be awarded in the following categories: Doctorate of Letters, Doctorate of Laws, or Doctorate of Technology.

Nominations are accepted year-round and brought forth each fall. For consideration for the 2023 convocation, nominations are recommended to be submitted by December 15, 2023.

2. A biographical summary outlining accomplishments with examples of relevant information.
