Victoria, BC – There will be temporary road closures in Victoria this weekend for the Times Colonist 10K. We will also be deploying temporary CCTV cameras in support of our operations to ensure public safety during the event.

The road closures for Saturday, April 23rd and Sunday, April 24th are detailed below.

  • Belleville Street, between Menzies Street and Government Street, will be closed from 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 23rd to 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 24th.
  • Belleville Street, between Oswego Street and Menzies Street, will be closed from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 24th.
  • Menzies Street, between Quebec Street and Belleville Street, will be closed from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 24th.
  • Government Street, between Belleville Street and Superior Street, will be closed from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 24th.

Traffic will be disrupted during the run. Our officers will be working to help minimize traffic disruptions and keep those participating safe.

We will be deploying CCTV cameras in support of our operations to ensure public safety during the event. The cameras will be taken down a short time after the event. Temporary signs will also be posted to ensure that those in the area are aware.
