We invite you to gather in the quad outside of the library/Starbucks at 9:30am where we will provide a welcome. Join us in singing the Women’s Warrior Song as we walk together to the Royal Arbutus Room for a ceremony (top floor of Bldg. 300 - upper caf). Listen to impactful words spoken by local women and feel moved by Indigenous songs and drumming. Coffee, tea, juice, and bannock will be provided. All VIU students, staff/faculty, and Nanaimo community members are welcome to join.
