An Arab speaker at a recent anti-Israel rally in Canada called for the killing of Israelis.

Ali Mallah made his comments during Sunday’s “Al-Quds Day” march in Toronto, an annual international event to express solidarity with the Palestinian people and call for the destruction of Israel.

In his speech, Mallah said Palestinians “have the right to resist their occupation by any means necessary.” The “illegal state of Israel,” he said, must pay for its crimes.

“In the United States, if somebody makes a mistake and walks into somebody’s home, he will be shot, right? Here in Canada, if somebody attacks us we will attack and shoot them, correct? So why is it okay then to occupy Palestinian land and oppress Palestinian people?” he said.

Mallah slammed the Canadian government for its opposition to the global anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, saying lawmakers have “no guts, no bravery, no honor.”

Mallah is a popular anti-Israel activist in Canada. He serves as the Ontario Vice President of the Canadian Arab Federation, which is highly critical of Israel. In 2006, following the Second War in Lebanon against Hezbollah, Mallah praised the terrorist organization, which, he said, symbolizes struggle against the Israeli “occupation” of Palestinians.

In other Al-Quds Day rallies around the world, similar calls for violence against Israel were made. In Iran, as reported by The Algemeiner, a senior Iranian commander threatened Israel’s “annihilation,” warning that “more than 100,000 missiles are ready to fly from Lebanon…and tens of thousands of destructive long-range missiles” in the region are ready to wipe Israel off the map.

Thousands of Iranians filled the streets throughout the country, carrying placards and chanting slogans against Israel and the US — including “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” — and burning American and Israeli flags.

In Britain, some 1,000 demonstrators filed through the streets of London calling for Israel’s destruction. As reported by The Algemeiner, Hezbollah flags were proudly flown by protesters during the rally, prompting major public outcry. In response, two UK lawmakers are calling on the government for an outright ban of the Lebanese terror group.
