Nutrition & Eating Disorders in the BIPOC Community with Christyna Johnson

Feb 03, 2022 |2:00-3:00pm

It is estimated that 2.7 million people in Canada have an eating disorder, but how many of those people go unrecognized and how many do not fit the stereotype associated with an eating disorder? Join Health Services and Counselling Services in welcoming registered dietitian Christyna Johnson on February 3, from 2:00pm-3:00pm. We will discuss the challenges of living with an eating disorder while being a person of colour, what resources and supports are available, and how we can all play a role in reducing the stigma and stereotypes associated with eating disorders.

See you there!
