The Sign of Hope Society, subsidiary of Catholic Charities Society, operates the Sign of Hope annual fundraising campaign for the programs offered by Catholic Social Services. The campaign is supported by a team of community leaders who volunteer their time, talents, and other resources. Monies raised by the campaign are transformed, based on need, into over 100 programs and services, such as: counselling and advocacy; helping families deal with FASD, addictions, HIV/AIDS, domestic violence, elderly abuse; providing homes for children, youth, and adults with disabilities, safe haven and transitional housing for refugees/immigrants; facilitating adoption and foster care; and protecting sexually exploited children.
