The Children’s Minnesota Professional Staff Services Credentialing team has received the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Accreditation in Credentialing/Recredentialing. Children’s Minnesota nurse appointed to the Minnesota Board of Nursing

Latasha Lee, RN, was appointed by Governor Tim Walz to the Minnesota Board of Nursing. Latasha is a nurse on the Minneapolis float team and is an active member of the Black Employee Empowerment Network employee resource group. Learn more about Latasha’s new position here.


Children’s Minnesota CFO among Finance & Commerce’s Top Women in Finance

Children’s Minnesota CFO, Brenda McCormick, has been named an honoree for the 2020 Top Women in Finance award with Finance & Commerce magazine. Brenda is among the Circle of Excellence honorees, as this is her second time to receive the award. Finance & Commerce’s Top Women in Finance honors program recognizes women who are making an impact not only in their professions but also in their communities in Minnesota. U.S. News & World Report announced that Children’s Minnesota has been named one of America’s Best Children’s Hospitals, ranking the pediatric system for four key specialty areas in its 2019-2020 rankings released online Tuesday. Children’s Minnesota is among the top 50 facilities, ranking No. 38 in pulmonology, No. 42 in diabetes and endocrinology, No. 43 in neonatology, and No. 28 in the joint nephrology program with Masonic Children’s Hospital. Children’s Minnesota earns distinction as Level 1 Children’s Surgery Center

Children’s Minnesota has been verified as a Level 1 Children’s Surgery Center by the American College of Surgeons. This is the highest level of distinction for health systems that perform complex surgical procedures in newborns, children and teens.
