CANCELLATION NOTICE: Cold Creek Maple Syrup Fest
King Township’s Cold Creek Maple Syrup Fest, scheduled for Saturday, Mar. 9 at the Cold Creek Conservation Area in Nobleton, has been cancelled due to the forecasted inclement weather. Heavy rainfall of 25-30mm is predicted to begin on Friday evening and continue throughout Saturday. These wet conditions are unsafe and undesirable for the outdoor event and prohibit the safe enjoyment of the many outdoor activities slated.
The cancellation of this annual event was a difficult decision; however, the safety of attendees, vendors, volunteers, and staff are our highest priority.
Individuals who pre-purchased a ticket online via credit card will automatically receive a full refund, without penalty. No action is required. Individuals who pre-purchased a ticket in-person via cash or cheque, will automatically receive a credit on their online account. A request to refund the credit can be made to the Township.
