Remembrance Day: A Day to Remember Our Canadian Heroes.
Remember those who served. All gave some, some gave all.
Remembrance Day is a sacred day in Canadian history. Canadians recognize Remembrance Day, originally called Armistice Day, every November 11th at 11:00 a.m. It marks the end of hostilities during the First World War and an opportunity to recall all those who had served in the nation’s defense.
Participate in the Act of Remembrance.
By remembering, we pay tribute to members of the Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP who served to defend our values and freedoms. We also honor those who continue to serve our country today.
