Celebrate the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi

On Friday, October 4, staff at the Durham Catholic District School Board gathered for Mass to celebrate the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. Father Keith graciously blessed the St. Francis of Assisi statue located at the front entrance of the board office and peace garden.

Staff also had an opportunity to look at the items that are stored in the 50^th Anniversary time capsule before it was sealed. The celebration marked the official end of the board’s 50^th anniversary year.
