Our report, "Prescription for a healthy pandemic recovery: decent work for all" was released on April 6, 2022. It explores how working conditions during the pandemic widened already-existing health inequities and constituted major risk factors for poor physical and psychological health (particularly for low-income workers and workers in precarious employment). The report also provides evidence-based recommendations to close these health gaps through progressive labour legislation.
Our 2020 report, "Before it’s Too Late: How to Close the Paid Sick Day Gap During COVID-19 and Beyond" also lays out clear arguments and recommendations for effective paid sick day legislation.
