Whether you are a new teacher, an administrator, or an instructional designer looking for ways to transform your ideas into accessible, online teaching and content design, this webinar is for you. In this mini webinar, we will introduce the two main topics: Designing and Teaching for Online Learning, and introduce you to the online programs for educators offered by Queen’s University, Faculty of Education.
Designing for Online Learning
You will be able to discover the principles of eLearning design using instructional approaches and design principles. You will know how to identify your audience, create specific learning goals, plan for various learners, develop and implement interactive lessons, evaluate learners’ products, and more.
Teaching for Online Learning
You will discover the best pedagogical practices for teaching online by effectively communicating with learners and motivating them with attention to their interests, making the learning process useful, building confidence for learners’ success, and rewarding them with self-reflections and satisfaction.
