New Wave Alert! This time in America’s Largest Indoor Waterpark…
FlowRider® sheet waves are certainly not new to the Lone Star State. From Amarillo to Corpus Christi and all the major cities in between, Texas hosts over 15 FlowRider waves – and it has just gained one more! Although not a first, this new wave is still something to get excited about.
Just outside of Austin and located in what is being named America’s largest indoor waterpark, the Kalahari Round Rock Resort is the new home to a FlowRider Double. Round Rock is the fourth location of Kalahari Resorts, with others located in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. These iconic, safari-themed destinations offer a variety of amenities including epic waterpark attractions, luxury spas, unique dining experiences, and world-class lodging – perfect for any family or group getaway. All in all, we are thrilled to see a FlowRider surf simulator included in this state-of-the-art facility, giving visitors the chance to experience the joy of riding a wave on top of all the other insanely cool attractions.
With the official ride commissioning process completed in conjunction with Aquatic Development Group, our North American licensee, Kalahari Round Rock officially opened its doors and the FlowRider Double has started producing waves.
