Structural Engineer

Keller Engineers of New Jersey is seeking a full-time Structural Engineer who possesses a blend of transportation and building design experience.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

The position requires 12+ years of fundamental AASHTO bridge design experience, familiarity with NJDOT and NJTA design standards, LRFD design and LRFR load rating methodologies and current state of practice such as accelerated bridge construction and prefabricated bridge elements, is preferred.

Additional requirements include:

  • BS degree in Civil Engineering (MS preferred);
  • NJ Professional Engineer’s license;
  • Experience working on bridge surface transportation projects;
  • Building investigations/forensics, shoring/sheeting analyses;
  • Experience with new and repurposed educational and medical facilities;

This individual will lead projects involving office, commercial, recreational and industrial sites and single / multi-family residential and retail development with an expertise in grading, stormwater management systems, soil erosion/sediment controls, utilities, permitting, public/private roadways and land use compliance, for a position based in our growing Camden, New Jersey office.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • A Bachelor’s of Science Degree or higher in Civil Engineering (BSCE);
  • A Professional Engineers License in the State of New Jersey is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Municipal Engineering;
