Inbound Trade Mission with Japanese Education Agencies

SUPPORTED BY

IN COLLABORATION WITH

Build Valuable Relationships with Decision-Makers From Top Japanese Agencies

BCCIE and Languages Canada are proud to announce that BCCIE will participate in the Inbound Trade Mission with Japanese Education Agencies! BC public and independent K-12 schools, and public and private EQA-designated post-secondary institutions and language schools are welcome to join, but spaces are limited! Institutions who are members of both Languages Canada and located in BC should register here.

BC qualified institutions who are not currently members of Languages Canada and who register for this Trade Mission will be provided with a $2,500 credit to be used towards a firm commitment to becoming members. Non-LC members may register using this link.

Japan ranked as Languages Canada members' top student source country in 2021! While this was a direct result of institutions being open for business and welcoming international students, it was also partly due to competing study destinations being completely closed to inbound travel. Canada has the potential to remain a top destination for Japanese students but to build on 2021's success, partner relationships need to be nurtured.

With this goal in mind, in November 2022, Languages Canada will host 30 Japanese education agents in one of the most awe-inspiring natural landscapes on the planet: Whistler, BC!

Japan has continued sending students to Canada despite huge challenges. This inbound trade mission will be a unique opportunity to show Japanese agents that their students are more than welcome in Canada, to strengthen long-standing partnerships, to create new and rewarding relationships, and to ensure agents feel motivated to keep Canada top of mind.
