Some studies have suggested that small to medium-sized businesses without a BCP have a failure rate of around 40-60% following a significant disruptive event, such as a natural disaster or a cyberattack. Larger organizations might have more resources to weather such events but can still suffer significant losses without a robust continuity plan in place. The failure rate without a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) can vary significantly depending on the industry, the size of the organization, and the specific risks it faces. However, generally speaking, organizations without a BCP are more susceptible to disruptions and have a higher likelihood of experiencing severe consequences in the event of a disaster.
