Raymond Hansen Memorial Award

February 17, 1944 - July 23, 2019

Ray Hansen was a denturist in Camrose, Alberta for over 45 years. He started Hansen Denture Clinic in 1969 and took great pride in serving his patients, who came to see him from near and far.

Ray was very active in his profession. He was a founding member of the Canadian Academy of Denturism and served on the executive of the Alberta Denturist Society for 14 years, including a year as president. During his career he mentored over 15 denturist students at his clinic. Ray’s passion for his profession has inspired his family to create a scholarship in his memory for the denturist program.
