Fact check: Ontario behind other jurisdictions on COVID testing

Earlier today Premier Doug Ford stated, “I also have to remind everyone we’re leading the country now in tests, overall and per capita. We’re going to continue on this pace. We’re one of the leaders in testing globally worldwide per capita.”

A review of testing data shows that Ontario is behind many other countries and provinces when measured on a per capita basis:
