The deceased has been identified as Adam Klimchuk, who was reported missing to Brandon Police Service on December 18, 2020.
The death does not appear to be suspicious.
The investigation is ongoing.
On May 6, 2021 at approximately 3:30 pm, Brandon RCMP responded to a report of a deceased person found in a field, in a rural area, in the RM of Souris-Glenwood.
A person checking their property located the body and immediately contacted police.
It is believed the body has been there for some time.
Brandon RCMP along with Major Crime Services, Forensic Identification Services and the Medical Examiner, continue to investigate.
