Volunteer with the Christmas Fund

Give Santa a Helping Hand

Many people assume that, to join Santa's team, you have to travel all the way to the North Pole. Well, we have some good news: it's not true! In fact, you can help Santa right here in Richmond, as a volunteer with the Christmas Fund.

Every year, nearly 100 volunteers contribute over 1,400 hours to the program. They donate their time as registration assistants and toy sorters, as greeters and translators, as line monitors and toy room assistants. In short, they do it all, ensuring that the Christmas Fund can help as many people as possible.

If you've made it to this page, you're probably interested in becoming a volunteer yourself, and for that, we thank you! Alas, Santa has all the elves he needs in 2023, and the Christmas Fund is no longer accepting applications. To apply next year, be sure to bookmark this page, and check back in September 2024.

Of course, there are plenty of amazing organizations that are recruiting volunteers right now. Visit our online Volunteer Opportunities Database to find a position that's right for you!
