Real Insight. Real Impact. Real Purpose.

Real Insight. Real Impact. Real Purpose.

SSHRC-funded research generates insights and impacts on issues that matter to Canadians.

Real Insight. Real Impact. Real Purpose. is a digital campaign that focuses on topics of top priority and concern to Canadians, including economic vulnerability, climate change and environment, pandemic and wellness, Indigenous reconciliation and cybersecurity. Social sciences and humanities researchers are investigating and shedding light on these and other key issues every day, and their research is leading to solutions and contributing to shaping a positive future for Canadians and the world.

From fall 2022 to spring 2023, this page will feature profiles, posted regularly, highlighting the compelling work of more than a dozen SSHRC-funded researchers and scholars.

Help spread the word about the important work of Canadian social sciences and humanities researchers by sharing these profiles from our website and social media accounts (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram) using the hashtags #RealInsight and #SSHRCFunded.
