As part of the City of Toronto’s latest Shop And Vax campaign, dozens of mall and neighbourhood clinics across Toronto will be offering COVID-19 vaccines from Thursday, November 11 to Sunday, November 14.

To help make it as easy as possible for residents to get vaccinated while they’re out shopping or running errands, clinics will be operating for one or more days during the campaign period in the following malls:

  • Agincourt Mall
  • Bridlewood Mall
  • Cedarbrae Mall
  • Cloverdale Mall
  • Eglinton Square
  • Gerrard Square
  • Lawrence-Allen Centre
  • Parkway Mall
  • Shoppers’ World
  • Thorncliffe Park Community Hub
  • Scarborough Town Centre
  • Stockyards
  • Woodbine Mall
  • Yonge Sheppard Centre
  • Yorkgate Mall

There are also dozens of neighbourhood COVID-19 clinics operating in all corners of the city. Third doses of COVID-19 vaccine will be administered at most clinics, in addition to the FLU vaccine.

A full list of Shop and Vax clinic locations, as well as information on which vaccines are available, hours and clinic walk-in or appointment status can be found on the City’s COVID-19: How to Get Vaccinated webpage.

This campaign builds on the first and second Shop And Vax initiatives held over two weekends in September and October.

Residents eligible for a third (booster) dose include;

  • Residents born in 1951 or earlier, at least 6 months after the second dose
  • Vulnerable older adults in congregate settings
  • Individuals who are moderately or severely immunocompromised
  • Health care workers
  • First Nations, Inuit and Métis Adults
  • People who received a Viral Vector vaccine (two doses of AstraZeneca or a single dose of Johnson & Johnson/Janssen)

City-run clinics at Cloverdale Mall, Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Mitchell Field Arena, Scarborough Town Centre and Woodbine Mall are also operating this weekend, offering first, second and third doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, as well as the flu vaccine. These clinics are by appointment only and can be arranged through the provincial booking system.

Currently, more than 84.5 per cent of eligible Toronto residents are fully vaccinated and 87.9 per cent have received at least their first dose.

Quotes:

“Once again, we are promoting dozens of local vaccine clinics this weekend. Shop And Vax highlights the COVID-19 vaccine clinics in malls across the city, as well as those operating in community centres, libraries, schools and places of worship. Toronto Public Health has made it clear how important it is for all of us to be vaccinated against COVID-19, therefore, we urge residents who haven’t yet been fully vaccinated to do so as soon as they can. Many of these clinics are also offering the flu vaccine which we can’t forget how important it is at this time of year.”

– Mayor John Tory

“The best way to stay safe and healthy is by getting your shots: your COVID-19 vaccine, as well as your annual flu shot. This week, Torontonians can get their first and second doses of COVID vaccine – and third doses, for those who are eligible – at local malls, shopping centres, community centres, libraries and pharmacies. Some of these clinics will also offer flu shots, helping Torontonians to protect themselves and others this winter.”

– Councillor Joe Cressy (Spadina-Fort York), Chair, Board of Health

“We continue to take every step to make it as convenient as possible for Torontonians to get the best protection against COVID-19. Thank you to all of our Team Toronto partners for your continued support towards helping residents to protect themselves and those around them by getting fully vaccinated. This weekend’s latest Shop And Vax campaign is another example of Team Toronto’s hard work to bring vaccine to every part of our city and to help us to end this pandemic.”

– Dr. Eileen de Villa, Medical Officer of Health
