March 28, 2022

Today, Mayor John Tory announced the launch of the new Vax And Ride campaign to bring 75 COVID-19 vaccine clinics to 10 TTC stations starting today.

Vax And Ride is part of Team Toronto’s continued equity-focused, hyper-local mobile strategy to make COVID-19 vaccines as accessible and convenient as possible and to facilitate easy access in places that are part of Torontonians’ everyday lives as they travel and commute across the city.

Locations include the following TTC stations:

  • Sheppard West
  • Islington
  • Jane
  • Sheppard-Yonge
  • Clair West
  • Bathurst
  • Kennedy
  • Warden
  • York University
  • Dufferin (Women’s College Hospital clinic)

Over a two-week span, 75 clinics will take place in 10 subway stations across Toronto. The clinics will take place from March 28 to April 3, and from April 7 to 10. The first clinic will be held today at Dufferin Station from 12:30 to 7 p.m. A full list of clinic locations and hours can be found on the City of Toronto’s COVID-19: Pop-Up Immunization Clinics webpage.

The clinics will operate on a walk-in basis. TTC fare payment is not required. A health card is not required for vaccination. Clinics will offer first, second, third and paediatric COVID-19 vaccines. Both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available.

The Vax And Ride clinics are the latest in a series of vaccination efforts held in partnership with the TTC. Since last year, the TTC has hosted 77 pop-up vaccination clinics in transit stations across the city.
