Shoppers taking advantage of Black Friday sales can also take care of getting vaccinated today or tomorrow at Lawrence Allen Centre, Stockyards Village and Yonge Sheppard Centre.
In addition to the vaccination clinics at these malls, Vax The Holidays clinics are operating at the following convenient, community-based locations:
Team Toronto’s Vax The Holidays is a month-long vaccination campaign that provides direct community access to COVID-19 vaccines in locations that reflect a data-driven approach. At this time of year, the focus is also on convenient and accessible spots where large groups of people are gathering for holiday shopping or celebrations.
Each Vax The Holidays clinic offers first, second and third doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to eligible residents born in 2009 or earlier.
Yesterday, Team Toronto partners opened their clinics across Toronto to vaccinate children aged five to 11 years. Clinic opportunities include fixed clinics run by hospitals, Ontario Health teams, community health centres and more than 110 primary care providers and pediatricians. More than 240 pharmacies currently have pediatric doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine available, with more coming within a week.
Appointments for children aged five to 11 years at all five City-run immunization clinics – Cloverdale Mall, Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Mitchell Field Arena, Scarborough Town Centre and Woodbine Mall – can be made by calling the provincial vaccine booking line at 1-833-943-3900 or through the Province of Ontario’s “How to book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment” webpage. Children must be turning five-years-old by the end of 2021 (born in 2016) to be eligible to book an appointment.
