A new era of investment in facilities and infrastructure is coming to Toronto Pearson
Over the next decade, we are working to transform Toronto Pearson into one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world.
With our passenger numbers projected to grow to 65 million by early 2030’s, we’ve set out an ambitious capital plan to meet growing passenger demand and create a global transportation hub built for the digital age.
Pearson LIFT (Long-term Investments in Facilities and Terminals) is our construction plan consisting of three major programs, spanning more than 10 years. We’re planning:
Investments at Pearson matter to Toronto, to Canada and to the world.
Planning & Design: We are working closely with our airport partners as we move forward with planning and design. Procurement: On April 12 we hosted an Industry Forum with hundreds of representatives from sub-trades and members of the construction, design and engineering industries as a first step in our procurement process. Bidding opportunities can be found on our supplier page.
We are committed to creating future-proofed airport facilities that deliver long-term value, while being flexible enough to adapt to the challenges today and the years ahead. Working with our airport partners throughout all stages of these programs, we will deliver world-class infrastructure for Canadians through financially prudent, cost-effective investments.
