The pilots of GlobalChild

After an over a decade of foundational work, 5 years of intensive research (2016-2021) and consultation with international experts and children, the development phase of the GlobalChild platform has come to a completion. The pilots of GlobalChild will trial the platform and refine it prior to its full global deployment and designation as an official reporting guideline of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Using GlobalChild’s 41 indicator sets, the pilots will take an inventory of the structures and processes in place in several regions to support the 41 substantive rights of children under the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The NB-Pilot

The New Brunswick (NB) Pilot of GlobalChild is the first Canadian pilot of the platform. It is a 2-year plan currently in its preparatory phase. This pilot is being conducted in close partnership with the NB Office of Child and Youth Advocates.
