Shoppers take cover as teens fight at Kildonan Place
2 minute read Updated: 11:27 AM CDTSome stores in the Kildonan Place mall on Regent Avenue were forced to close Wednesday after a number of young people began fighting and one of them blasted pepper spray at the others as shoppers scrambled to get out of the way.
An employee who contacted the Free Press said the fight approached the centre court attraction, where parents were lined up with their children to get photos with the Easter bunny.
“People were screaming like crazy. People didn’t know what it was,” the employee, who didn’t want their name used, said.
The employee said some of the teens involved in the incident wore masks with skeleton symbols on them.
