Transforming our waste into materials for tomorrow

The reduction, diversion, and management of waste is one of the world’s most pressing environmental issues. The traditional approach of “take-make-waste” is no longer sustainable and requires a shift in the way we view and manage our waste.

Most of what we throw away could be diverted from landfills by remanufacturing or recycling these materials into new products. Recycling materials not only reduces our impact on the environment by reducing our dependance on raw materials, but also creates employment opportunities and extends the life of our landfills.

Help create a greener and cleaner New Brunswick by learning more about waste reduction and diversion in the province.
