Committee of the Whole reports to County Council. Committee of the Whole is comprised of all members of Council sitting as a committee for the purposes of conducting business in a less formal manner.
Committee of the Whole is typically held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month starting at 9:30 a.m. or immediately following the County Council meeting.
Committee of the Whole includes elected officials from all lower-tier municipalities. Also, the City of Barrie and the City of Orillia appoint several members of the committee with limited rights based on services delivered to those cities.
