I am really enjoying Marissa Burwell's smooth, warm tone and how it glides effortlessly over the polished production. This is a relatable song about one struggling to get through to someone they love, about loss and longing over time. Marissa's vocals are definitely the star of the song and I really like how the song starts quite smoothly, slowing building up with energy brought by soaring guitars and punchy drums that match the emotion of her storytelling.
